My name is Rob Brennan over 4 years ago I set up my Company Connect Consulting to meet the demands of Companies moving into new offices and refurbishing existing offices. This includes office procurement and due diligence, fitout contract management & design, furniture/fittings procurement and IT and Telco Consultancy. I have been able to consistent source the best value in the current market. At present there is no better time to execute a move or look at refurbishing existing premises.
I previously worked for developers, project management companies and M&E Contrcators over the years . While away in Sydney, Australia in 2000 I set up a promotions company of the name of RSP promotions. This was after I had significant work experience work for Lites Marketing in Dublin for Diageo brands.
After studying over a several years I hold a BSc. in Management, Adv Dip. in Marketing and a MSc. in Planning and Development. My reason for writing this blog is to discuss companies setting up in Ireland and how, more than ever, it is attractive to set up or start-up a business in Ireland.
I also set another company more recently ini Connect Project Management where with business partner Lawrence McFarlane design and build exhibition stands for International Clients at the various fairs in Europe. We currently work with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt at the Frankfurt Book Fair and will be completing similar projects in London and Qatar. See http://vimeo.com/15631445 for further information.
I am a keen reader and split my time between reading business and management books and biographies (many of which are about entrepreneurs! I need to broaden my horizons!!). More recently I have been focused on the marry my knowledge of the Design and Build Process with technology as there are major opportunities in this space.
I am also a keen traveller and try to get away when the opportunity arises. In terms of sports I like to play football at least once a week and am a keen Newcastle United Fan (Go on the toon!!). I also follow rugby and try to get to most of the matches when possible (ticket depending!). Thankfully I have been able to go skiing most years, with the 3 Valleys in France being the destination of choice.
